Tired of typing your check-in information at every venue? On Approach, you fill out your details once, and next time you only have to click one to button to check-in.

If the bar you want to go to is full, don't wait outside - add yourself to the queue virtually on Approach and wait to be notified when it's your turn to go in.
Track your progress
Want to know if you're close to the front of the line? Track where you are in the queue on the "My Queue" tab and receive notifications when you have to make your way, or you can enter.
Socialise in venues
Approach displays people in the venue at the same time as you to meet and interact with them.

Now you can find them on Approach* and see if they’re ready to connect.
*Approach only displays people that are in a 40-meter radius of where you are.

Seize the moment! If you see someone in your immediate proximity and want to approach them, just send a GIF. If they are interested, they will send one back. This is your green light!

New to a place? Open Approach to discover people around you.
Making new friends in new places can be difficult. Approach allows you to discover people that you see around to start a conversation without the awkwardness.
You could be watching the game in a pub or having a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, Approach can help you interact with them in a casual and relaxed way.
Install App and create account
It’s simple, go to the App Store in your mobile and download Approach. Provide your COVID check-in information and complete your profile in minutes.
Check-In
Select the venue you want to check-in to and click the 'Venue Check-in' button in the venue profile. Don't forget to check-out when you leave.
Win Rewards
Every time you interact with the content in the Feed (likes or shares), you check-in or check-out from one of our partner venues you will have the chance to unlock a reward card. The cards will appear in your profile so make sure yours is completed to be able to use them.

Approach allows you to check-in and out of venues, so you stay visible for longer without re-opening the app
Don't want to be seen? Just change your settings
Approach will remove your profile from the carousel if you click 'Be antisocial' in 'Settings' in your profile. You can turn it back on when you feel more social.
When in doubt, send a funny GIF.
If you’re still nervous about making that first move, send a funny GIF and wait for the other person to reply to start a conversation.

The essence of the social aspect of Approach is ‘act in-the-moment’, helping people approach and engage other humans to grow their social circle and make new friends.
With technology and devices adding convenience to our lives, our social skills have suffered and in some ways harmed how we begin socialising. Reading signs like. "Did they smile at me?" "I wonder if they want someone to watch the game with" "I think we're studying the same degree, maybe we could share ideas?" Approach enables people to approach someone with confidence.
In reality, if we see someone who catches our eye, we contemplate approaching them — but, so many times, we end up doing nothing, and that opportunity passes us by.
